🤖Neo Angband: Borg v1.1.1

• The buff-timer safety net was not ported (neo-angband#32). Buff bookkeeping was message-driven only: the Borg learned that a blessing, heroism, a temporary resist or a mystic shield had ended by reading the line the game printed when it expired. Upstream keeps a second, redundant record beside that one, reading the player’s real timers out of the game every think and reconciling them against the flags the messages produced (borg-trait.c:3010). Without it a message that never arrived left the flag latched on for good, and every maneuver that opens by checking that flag - the ones that would recast the buff - was silently removed from the ladder for the rest of the character’s life. The cross-check runs on every decision, ahead of the message pass, so a buff the engine reports as expired is corrected in time to be recast on the same turn. Haste and protection from evil keep upstream’s own narrower shape, where the timer can raise the flag but not lower it. The toggle for this lives in the Bug Fixes mod’s “Borg Fixes” section, not in this mod’s own manifest - it defaults to on and is greyed out unless Bug Fixes is also installed.
