Neo Angband: Bug Fixes v1.0.0
Changed
- Tested and typechecked against engine, content and mod-sdk 0.34.2 rather
than 0.29.0. The devDependency range was five minor releases behind what is
actually published; at 0.29.0, core’s
historyAdddid not yet accept or persist theexpandUserInputmarker the Text and history toggle’s raw-note fix (#6665) writes, so this repository’s own save/reload test for that fix could never actually pass against the version it claimed to test against. No code in this mod changed - the fix was entirely the stale devDependency pin.
Fixed
- Repeatedly dropping and picking up a stack of 40+ charged wands or staves
next to a smaller stack of the same kind no longer drifts charges between
the two stacks. combinePack’s uneven-stack merge swapped the two stacks’
counts whenever the stack being drained was already at its per-stack limit,
and charge distribution truncates a fraction on every swap; repeated
drop/pickup drifted the loss in one direction. Under the State integrity
toggle (
bugfix.stateIntegrity), the merge is now refused in that case (upstream issue #6355’s residual case, never merged as its own PR; neostryder/neo-angband#115). - Re-inscribing an item that moves it out of the quiver, with a full pack, no
longer sheds an unrelated item onto the floor. The pack-overflow safety net
that runs before every command used to shed the last item in the sorted
inventory listing unconditionally, which need not be the item that actually
caused the overflow - reproduced with a Small wooden chest vanishing while
the re-inscribed item stayed held. Under the State integrity toggle
(
bugfix.stateIntegrity), the shed now targets the item that actually left the quiver (upstream issue #4666, open with no accepted fix; neostryder/neo-angband#116).
