Neo Angband: Quality of Life v1.12.0

Added

  • VisibleContent Misc. niceties also makes upstream’s own text clearer. It rewords 16 pieces of Angband 4.2.6’s text, such as naming the stat each drain dart takes.

  • VisibleDocs TEXT_CHANGES.md lists every text change Misc. niceties makes. Each entry gives the upstream file and line, the text before and after, and the reason; a test keeps the list and the shipped patches in step.

Changed

  • VisibleUI Misc. niceties is now a content section, so it can carry text patches. A choice you already made carries over.

  • VisibleUI Setting descriptions read more plainly. The QoL rule descriptions in the mod manager are rewritten for clarity; every toggle works as before.

  • VisibleDocs The README’s cloud-backup instructions are shorter and plainer. The rest of the README, the terms and the AI usage policy are reworded too.
