Neo Angband: Quality of Life v1.8.3

Fixed

  • VisibleUI The earlier play-view zoom ladder expansion now reaches 128-pixel cells. Its saved-height migration, narrow-pane handling, and automatic fitted default stay aligned with the wider range (#253).

  • VisibleUI Returning to the game after an Alt-Tab no longer changes the play-view zoom. A focus-time resize without a changed game surface now leaves the responsive grid alone (#264).

  • VisibleUI Ctrl-Wheel now works after resuming a character from the title screen. Resume now crosses the same gameplay-grid activation boundary as loading or completing character birth (#183).

  • VisibleUI The responsive status sidebar now stays inside the tiled play view. Its clipping layer follows the main display surface, so it cannot bleed into a neighbouring subwindow (#263).

  • VisibleUI Each tiled subwindow now keeps its own zoom after a reload or pref-file transfer. Its per-panel level is saved with the Quality of Life preferences and now rides alongside the core tiling layout in ā€œDump window settingsā€ and ā€œLoad a user pref fileā€ (#262).

  • VisibleSave-Compat First-encounter notebooks now survive reloading a named character. The saved sighting list no longer treats the host’s separately managed display name as a different character identity (#259).

  • VisibleUI Quality of Life cards now clean themselves up when the plugin is unloaded. First-sighting alerts and shortcut helpers no longer leave their timers, queues, or open cards behind during a mod teardown (#251).

  • VisibleUI Choosing no responsive status sidebar now gives its space back to the play view. The grid releases the sidebar reservation and refits using the full available pane (#252).

  • VisibleUI Play-view zoom now has more useful steps at both extremes. You can zoom out below 16-pixel cells and zoom in beyond 48 pixels, while existing saved zoom heights carry forward unchanged (#253).
