Neo Angband v1.2.1

Fixed

  • A menu’s cursor reset to the first row whenever a submenu closed, instead of staying on the row you opened it from - manageMod (a mod’s own Disable / Move / Read description actions), the top-level Mod options browser, and the Options Menu (=) all rebuilt their menu on every pass without threading a cursor through it, unlike manageModOptions, which already did (#159). Fixed the same way that screen already was, and while doing so found the pattern itself was incomplete: selectFromMenu’s cursor tracking only followed arrow-key navigation, not a tag letter, a jump key or a tap - so a caller that reported its cursor to reopen a menu in the right place could still be wrong if the row was reached any other way. Every caller using this pattern benefits, not just the three fixed here.
  • The birth-options-style yes/no toggle screens (Birth options, Interface options, Cheat options) treated their two horizontal arrows asymmetrically: ArrowRight toggled the highlighted row, ArrowLeft exited the whole screen outright. Both now toggle in place, matching t/T/Enter; only Escape leaves (#161).
  • Escape on those same screens left silently even when a setting had changed and “(s)ave” was never pressed. Where the screen has a save action at all (Interface options and the at-birth Birth options editor - the only two upstream ever gives one), Escape now asks “Save changes before leaving?” first if anything changed since the screen opened or was last saved (#161).
